BIO

Brian Herzlinger has written and directed over 35 films and streaming/TV series, starting with his Multiple Award-Winning Feature documentary My Date With Drew starring Herzlinger and Drew Barrymore.  Herzlinger has directed films for Lionsgate, Hallmark, Lifetime, Amazon, UPTV, Mar Vista Entertainment and PureFlix. Between 2005 and 2009, Herzlinger served as a regular On-Air Correspondent for The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, starring in over 26 episodes for the number one-rated late night program. In recent years, Herzlinger has found great success as a writer and director for Lifetime original Christmas films - with over 8 holiday originals under his belt.
Highlights from Herzlinger’s body of work include Baby on Board starring Heather Graham, Jerry O’Connell, John Corbett, and Lara Flynn Boyle, Finding Normal starring Candace Cameron Bure, A Christmas Dance Reunion starring High School Musical’s Corbin Bleu and Monique Coleman, Twinkle All The Way starring Sarah Drew, Ryan McPartlin and Lesley Ann Warren, A Welcome Home Christmas starring Jana Kramer and Brandon Quinn, High Holiday starring Tom Arnold, Jennifer Tilly, Cloris Leachman, Robert Carradine and Shannyn Sossamon, Meet My Valentine starring Scott Wolf and Courtney Ford, Love Always, Santa starring Marguerite Moreau, and Christmas Angel starring Della Reese, Teri Polo, and Kevin Sorbo. His most recent projects include the feature film Aloha With Love starring Trevor Donovan, Tiffany Smith, and Branscombe Richmond, the YouTube Studios original series Awkward Conversations starring David Dastmalchian, and the Lifetime Original Film The Holiday Fix-Up starring Ryan McPartlin and Jana Kramer. Herzlinger completed directing and writing duties on two theatrical thrillers in the fall of 2021- The Walls Are Watching starring Branscombe Richmond and Deadly Yoga Retreat starring Jonathan Bennett. In 2022, Herzlinger directed both the Lifetime Original movie Reindeer Games Homecoming starring Grey’s Anatomy’s Sarah Drew and Justin Breuning, and the feature film The Holiday Dating Guide starring Maria Menounos. In 2023, Herzlinger directed Mr. Manhattan starring Carlos and Alexa PenaVega for Sony Affirm Films and Great American PureFlix. In 2024, Herzlinger co-wrote and directed the Great American Family original film Once Upon A Christmas Wish starring Mario Lopez, produced and directed the holiday film Christmas at Plumhill Manor starring Maria Menounos, and directed the Great American Pureflix Original film Love At The Kettle starring Carlos and Alexa PenaVega. Herzlinger is also known for his upcoming projects including the feature film God’s Gone Fishing for producers Gary Martin and George Folsey, Jr.
